Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to attend an in-person registration?
No you do not. You can register online during the allocated registration time. Once late registration closes, we will NOT allow additional players to be registered as this does not provide NWLL the proper time to order and receive uniforms in time. NWLL strives to provide ample time for parents to be notified about open and late registration.

What are the fees associated with playing with NWLL?
Fall registration fee for all divisions is $120, with a $20 discount for additional siblings up to a max of $40 discount. Parents are responsible for the cost of their child(s) All-Star uniform(s), price TBD as NWLL uniform committee strive to find the best available price.

Are there any discounts offered?
Yes, a non-NWLL discount provided by T-Mobile called the "T-Mobile Call Up Grant" is available to assist families in need. Please note quantities are limited, click on this link to apply for the spring season only: https://www.littleleague.org/call-up-grant-program/

Is my child guaranteed a spot on a team?
Yes, every child with a completed registration will be placed on a team. Players are encouraged (not mandatory) to attend one of several player evaluations in order to assure the player is placed in the correct division based on their playing ability.

When does registration for Fall/Spring season occur?
Typically, spring registration opens online beginning in November. This year we are offering an in person discounted rate for parents who register their player(s) during NWLL Truck-A-Treat event, that will take place on October 28th. Check the home page for important dates and times regarding registration. Check out our social media pages on Facebook and Instagram for the latest information.

If we do not live in the boundaries, can my child still play for NWLL?
If your home address is not in NWLL boundaries but your child's school is, then your child is eligible to play with NWLL.  If your school or home address does not fall within Northwest Little League boundaries we encourage parents to register with their designated little league. Please click here to see if NWLL is your corresponding league. Your child is able to play at NWLL during the fall, but spring season differs as each player has to play in their designated league.

What are NWLL boundaries?
Please see the Registration Info tab for more information on boundaries and a link to the map.

What is the practice and game schedule?
Practice will begin after all players attend an evaluation, registration closes and teams are formed. Team manager/coach will set practice schedule and locations and then reach out to the parents. Coaches will call parents and encourage them to download GroupMe app as this is the preferred method of communication for NWLL. Practices are normally 1-2 times a week, after 6 pm on NWLL fields. Spring games begin in late March and are played through mid-May.  Fall games begin late September through November. Games are normally 1-2 times/week and on Saturdays. Post season play (City and All-Star Tournament) begin in June and run till teams are eliminated.

Is my child guaranteed to play All Stars?
No, not all players will be selected to play All Stars. Players are selected after they attend an evaluation and based on their playing ability they're invited to play on a All Star team to represent NWLL.
